Besides arriving in
Hong Kong in January of 2010 our
travels took us back to the U.S. and then to
MAINLAND CHINA. It was a
great trip taking us to all the wonderful historic spots. I selected one
of the watchtowers of the Great Wall as a highlight of our trip to
China.

MALAYSIA AND
SINGAPORE

I hope you don't mind another photo of an orang utan from Borneo, Sabah,
Malaysia. You see I can't get enough of them!
THAILAND

We spent about 6 months in Thailand. We ;had hoped to spend more time
out in these islands in the bay east the island/peninsula of Phuket.
However, when we saw how murky the water was we were majorly turned OFF!
These islands are beautiful to look at, but not to swim around, So
that's what we did!
CAMBODIA

I chose this photo to represent Cambodia, not because it's the most
beautiful of my shots, but because it's representative of the many
gorgeous images at the temples around Angkor Wat: The lovely maidens,
the structural stone pillars and window frames. And, the beautiful
carved facades. These incredible temples are absolutely captivating!
MYANMAR/BURMA

We loved Burma. I had a lot of trouble trying to pick a photo to depict
this diverse and fascinating country. I finally decided that their
Buddhist heritage was the thing. It is an honor for this young monk to
be selected to carry the rice pot of his master. |
