This beautiful view from our boat in Munda was very soothing after the
struggle we had finding our way over the bar and around the reefs to get
here. Our biggest challenge (besides charts that were nearly hopeless)
was the grey skies that blocked our ability to read the water! So,
slowly we made it into the anchorage.
You
might not know quite how to read these guys, but we just assumed they
were our friends and it turns out, they were! This guy made this
gorgeous bowl which we gave as a wedding present to friends.
We
had enough sunshine to get out and do some diving, so that renewed our
spirits! On the right a vagabond butterflyfish.

I hope you like these guys! On the left is a lined sweetlips (Plectorhinchus
lineatus).
On
the right a black chromis (Chrimis Xanthura).
More
of my favorites!
On the left is the blue-banded surgeonfish.
On
the right a staghorn damsel (Amblyglyphidodon curacao).
We
also got some shots of the people on a rainy market day.
We
just hoped these people got home safe and sound. By the looks of the
amount of freeboard on that boat I'd say they're about to take some
water on board. |
